Description
I took this shot of a white daffodil bloom near my house. I was inspired by another FAA artist who named the daffodil: "Touched By An Angel" and make me name this beautiful white flower something angelic. The two petals on the back of the daffodil do look like wings from an angel. White flower always represents purity, innocence and sincere.
Narcissus is an genus of perennial herbaceous bulbiferous geophytes, dying back after flowering to an underground storage bulb. They regrow in the following year from brown-skinned ovoid bulbs with pronounced necks, and reach heights of 5 - 80 cm depending on the species. Dwarf species such as N. asturiensis have a maximum height of 5 - 8 cm, while Narcissus tazetta may grow as tall as 80 cm.
