Peony Mahogany is a wonderful Glasscock Hybrid that has a single, large cup shaped deep mahogany red flowers very early in the peony bloom season. Sweetly fragrant flowers are held on strong 28- 30" stems. The lighter markings on the out side of the petals become more prominent as the flower ages and the bloom becomes bigger. Light green foliage. Sought after by collectors it is noted for its pale green-gold foliage in the spring. Plant in full sun in a well drained soil.
